Top priority manga purchases for 2016!

Hello! Let’s start this blog fangirling over manga titles!

Last year a lot of licenses were announced and a lot of them made me really hyped! So, here is a list of my top priority purchases for 2016! (Not that I’ll get them any time soon because I’ve been spending a bit too much on figures… so my manga budget got messed up *sobs*).

Veeeery veeeery excited for this one!

I can finally have the Amars on my shelves! I’m also quite happy that they made this an omnibus version, that means I get to spend less 😉

My sister dragged me into this fandom and I couldn’t be any happier! This is actually one of the main reasons my manga budget got cut, I got Hinata, Kageyama and Oikawa’s nendos (they are on their way from Japan), plus Noya and Kenma when they get released on May and June!

This one comes out on March! Happy Birthday to me! It’s one of the titles I’m the most excited about, cause It’s one of my favourite mangas. Before the Viz announcement, I was making plans to get the spanish version (how? I still wasn’t sure, but I was deadset on getting it!), so I was jumping for joy when the title was licensed in english.

Another Asano manga that I’ve been wanting to read for ages! I wasn’t able to get the spanish edition that has been on the market for about a year, and I had actually given up on an english release, so I was very happy to see an omnibus from Vertical.

I had just purchased the first volume in spanish when Seven Seas announced they would publish Orange. In the end, I just stopped purchasing the other volumes. The spanish edition is reaaaaally pretty! Tomodomo does an amazing job! But overall, it would be more expensive to buy them from Spain and of course, I get a lot of spanish slang that I don’t really use/identify with 😦

This a very lovely and cute shojo, I was really happy when Shojo Beat announced it, hopefully I’ll get it soon. I’m still not sure if I’ll get it on digital or paper thou.

That’s for the new 2016 releases, as for the rest of manga titles, here’s a short list:

  • My Love Story!!
  • Love at Fourteen
  • Yukarism (I have just one volume left!)
  • Requiem of the Rose King
  • Silent Voice
  • Kobato (Still missing volume 5)
  • Merman in my Tub

I have more incomplete manga series *sobs*, but for now these are my priorities.

I should also spend less money on figures, but I swear it’s kind of addictive 😆

    • Nozomi says:

      It’s the Kuroko version that will be released in 2 in 1 format, as for Haikyuu they will release one volume per month until they catch up with the Japanese version. There are sooooo many volumes I’m just going to stick with the digital releases and maybe get the first one on paperback too ;w;
