3 Day Quote Challenge – Day 3

Final day of the challenge >3< this has been really fun, and pretty motivational :_D

  • Post one quotation a day for three days (they can be from other sources or one of your own).
  • Nominate 3 other bloggers to participate per post.
  • Thank the blogger who nominated you.

Thanks to Crimson ❤

This is something that I have to keep reminding myself:

This is hard! Trying not to compare yourself to people that are your same age or have similar careers. But in the end, comparing yourself to others isn’t really going to help you grow and will only leave you frustrated. And I’m no talking about seeking inspiration, looking up to someone is completely different to comparing yourself to someone.

Somedays I look back on the things I’ve accomplished and think I should have done so much more, I look at my old classmates, at my friends… people are working in big companies, traveling, getting degrees, owning their own businesses… and sometimes I feel small. But! It’s no like I’ve been lazing around all this years, I have my own accomplishments. Compared to the me from 2 years ago, I have done a whole lot of growing and I’m way more stronger c:

So, even if you compare yourself to others (it’s natural to do so), remember your own achievements. Chances are, someone out there is also trying to catch up to you.

Great quote! It’s hard not to compare yourself to other people, especially when they seem better off than you are. When I find myself comparing myself to others, I try to think of the things I do have and the things I have accomplished instead. Also thanks for the nomination! I’m on day 2 so far!
