It’s been over two weeks! D; You should never believe me when I say “I’ll post soon”.
I got busy right after my last post, I found out about a scholarship program, the deadline for the application was today, so I was pretty much running around gathering all the required documents and writing study plans and self-introductions + work. But now that’s done and I can finally get back to my normal routine, hopefully.
As for manga purchases, I didn’t buy much in February, although I did get a lot of figures (I should be posting pics next week).
Honey so sweet Vol 1 (Digital)
Little did Nao Kogure realize back in middle school that when she left an umbrella and a box of bandages in the rain for injured delinquent Taiga Onise that she would meet him again in high school. Nao wants nothing to do with the gruff and frightening Taiga, but he suddenly presents her with a huge bouquet of flowers and asks her to date him—with marriage in mind! Is Taiga really so scary, or is he a sweetheart in disguise?
As I said in my first post, this was a manga I got really excited about. It is a typical shojo, but it’s such a sweet story ;w; and I really like Amu Meguro’s art (when the characters blush they look so cute!). I was so happy when it got licensed, after thinking about it carefully I decided to get this one on digital only.
Crimson Prince Vol 1 and 2 (Digital)
Demon prince Koujirou Sakura comes to Earth, enrolling in high school, on a mission to find the human who will threaten the future of the demon realm…and steal their souls! But with no clue as to this human’s identity, Koujirou is at a loss. To make matters worse, the boys’ dorm at his new school is full, and he’s forced to live off campus with a girl! Oh, the humanity…!
Crimson Prince is available only in digital format. I was curious about this one, I read the preview pages and decided to get the first volume (the kindle version is just $2.99). It’s marked as shonen but so far it seems pretty shojo to me, not that I’m complaining, I really like cute shojo ;w;
Funny story; I had no idea my little sister loved this manga, after purchasing it and reading the first volume, I told her about it and she tackled/hugged me…. that same day she made me buy the second volume xDD
Oyayubihime Infinity Vol 1 to 6
Tsubame is a young teenage boy searching for his one true, Agemaki. When he meets Kanoko, a girl with a birthmark of a butterfly on her left hand, he believes that she is Agemaki. Kanoko doesn’t believe it at first, but they meet several other teenagers with similar birthmarks and stories. As the series progresses, she begins to fall in love with Tsubame, only to learn that he may not be her soul mate after all.
This purchase made me so incredibly happy. I love this manga! I have a soft spot for past-lives, parallel worlds and time travel, this one falls right into the past lives category TTwTT plus, it was one of the very first mangas I read. I had been searching for a good deal and aiming to get all six volumes in the same purchase for soooo long. Finally, I got them for the amazing price of $16 !!!! and they look quite good despite being over 9 years old and used.
That’s all for my February purchases, I’m probably not going to buy more manga until May or June (that sounds so far away *sobs*).
